Reporting directly to our Maintenance Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks across our production and site infrastructure. You'll be involved in machinery installation, repairs, preventive maintenance, project work, and efficiency upgrades — with your ideas welcomed and valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and systems
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown response
- Machine upgrades, optimisation, and efficiency improvement
- Fabrication, project-based work, and kaizen implementation
- Supporting site utilities (e.g., air compressors, chillers)
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s proactive, reliable, and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent minimum)
- MIG welding experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery, ideally within FMCG
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Experience with utilities such as chillers and compressors
- Strong fault-finding skills
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good time management and a positive, solutions-focused attitude
