We are currently looking for an experienced Trade-Qualified Welder (First Class) to join our team at our Deer Park facility on a full time permanent basis, manufacturing high-quality electrical enclosures and custom sheetmetal solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- MIG welding of mild steel sheetmetal (aluminium and stainless-steel experience is a bonus)
- Sanding, grinding, and prepping welded components for powder coating
- Interpreting CAD/fabrication drawings accurately
- Manufacturing a variety of custom enclosures in a fast-paced workshop
- Collaborating with a skilled and supportive team
What You’ll Bring:
- Relevant Trade Qualification or at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 1-year previous welding experience required
- Strong MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and work from CAD or shop drawings
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work overtime when required
- High motivation and willingness to learn
