Are you a friendly and motivated person with high level administration and customer service experience to join our audiology practice?
We’re an independent hearing care provider in Lake Macquarie and are seeking an experienced, mature and organised medical receptionist/administrative assistant to join our Belmont clinic on a full time basis. This is a front-of-house role that’s perfect for someone who loves working independently, enjoys variety, and takes ownership of their work.
You’ll work closely with our hearing care professional and clients to ensure appointments run smoothly, enquiries are answered promptly, and every visitor feels genuinely cared for.
Duties include:
- Managing reception and performing a range of administrative tasks including appointment bookings, data entry, claim processing, and reporting
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Processing payments and receipts
- Assisting clients with minor hearing aid repairs and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinating hearing aid orders and repairs
- Assisting with marketing and social media management
- Maintaining client records and ensuring clinic tidiness

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience as a receptionist/ administration clerk ideally within an audiology, allied health or medical environment
- Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
- High work ethics, be able to work independently and be reliable
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail - ability to multi-task, and prioritise
- A certificate in business or office administration (desirable)
- Live locally and in close proximity to our clinic
