We are looking for an experienced, reliable, dedicated, attentive and mature female support worker with a lovely lady in Chelsea Heights.
She is an Incomplete Quad with a Functional and Neurological disorder.
She uses crutches to transfer in and out of the car and also to mobilize in the house but will use her chair if she gets tired.

Job Description:
The shifts are weekly Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s starting at 5.30am – 3.00pm approx.
The shift is to transport her to Altona North for training, she is an elite wheelchair athlete. You will also need to take her 2 gorgeous Groodles in the car with you, they are her assistance dogs. While she is training you will take the dogs for walks and a run in a park. Then on the way back home assist with running some errands if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice.
· Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of daily activities, incidents, and progress.
· Engage in activities that promote the individual's social, emotional, and physical well-being.
· Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
· Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
· Must love dogs.
· Drive a SUV car ( minimum ) for her wheelchair.
· Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with disability.
· Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Reliable, flexible, and committed to quality care.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field.
· Current First Aid and CPR certification.
· NDIS Worker Screening Check.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transport that is no smaller than a SUV.
· A current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
· We need you to be available for at least 10-30 hours per week.

· Qualification in Disability or relevant experience is essential.

· Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
