The All Nations Group Ltd is currently hiring casual aged care support workers. The purpose of the role is to assist elderly clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.
Location: Various locations
Job responsibilities:
Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.
About you
Confident and calm manner.
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with.
Having experience in working with clients having dementia
Speak languages other than English & English fluently.
Essential Criteria for Selection:
Experience in working with the elderly.
Certificate Level III in Individual Support or Aging.
Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Full driver licence and access to a vehicle.
Current First Aid.
