Details: Step into a pivotal leadership role where your expertise in data can directly shape the future of healthcare in the ACT. As an Executive Branch Manager in the Health System, Innovation and Performance Division you will lead the way data is understood shared and used to improve outcomes across the health system.
Within the Division the Data Analytics Branch plays a critical role in delivering system wide insight from performance reporting and national submissions to advanced modelling projections and research partnerships. In this role you will lead a high performing team to strengthen data governance improve data access and delivery and ensure high quality analytics underpin policy planning and service design. You will work across government and the broader health system translating complex data into clear actionable advice for senior executives and Ministers.
As a member of the executive leadership team, you will foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement while managing competing priorities in a complex and fast paced environment. Your leadership will ensure the Directorate meets national data requirements and continues to mature its data capability following the implementation of the Digital Health Record.
To be successful in this role you will bring strong leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate and develop high performing teams while championing diversity and inclusion. You will demonstrate strategic thinking and sound judgement with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights that influence decision making at the highest levels. You will have a track record of building strong partnerships across government and external stakeholders and the ability to navigate competing priorities with professionalism and integrity. Most importantly you will be driven by a commitment to evidence-based practice and improving health outcomes for the ACT community.
Commencing 1 July 2026 all ACTPS Senior Executive Service members are required to exercise the functions of their position in accordance with the closing the gap principle ACT Closing the Gap Implementation Plan - ACT Government Transparency Portal
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $279,484 - $288,101 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $246,208.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
