Job Title: Casual / Part-Time Spring Cleaner
Location: Various Locations (Assigned based on operational areas)
Roster: Monday to Friday (No weekends required, flexible scheduling)
Remuneration: Aligned with the Cleaning Services Award [MA000022]. Prior recognized experience within Australia will be highly regarded and compensated accordingly.
Commencement: Immediate Start
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Spring Cleaner, your primary focus will be delivering thorough, top-to-bottom deep cleans. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
Deep Cleaning: Detailed dusting, wiping down skirting boards, cleaning light switches, doors, and removing cobwebs.
Kitchen & Bathroom Sanitization: Deep cleaning ovens, rangehoods, inside cabinets, descaling showers, polishing tapware, and sanitizing toilets.
Floor Care: Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors meticulously.
Window & Glass Cleaning: Cleaning interior glass surfaces, mirrors, and window tracks.
Equipment Maintenance: Safely operating, cleaning, and maintaining company-provided cleaning machinery and equipment.
Chemical Safety: Adhering strictly to safe chemical handling protocols and using the correct cleaning solutions for various surfaces.
Customer Service: Representing the company professionally while interacting with clients on-site.
Key Selection Criteria (Requirements)
Experience & Training: No prior experience is strictly required, as comprehensive, paid on-the-job training is provided.
Proven experience in domestic, commercial, or bond cleaning within Australia is a major advantage and will be financially recognized.
Licences & Compliance:
Background Check: Must hold or be willing to immediately obtain a valid, clean Australian National Police Check.
Transport: Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable personal vehicle or highly dependable transport to travel independently between client job sites (Essential).
Skills & Language:
Language: Basic to Intermediate English proficiency is required to effectively understand safety instructions, product labels, and communicate with the management team.
Attributes: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, punctuality, and physical fitness to handle active manual work.
