We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced General Practice Nurses to join our team. The General Practice Nurse plays a vital role in delivering patient-centered care and supporting our healthcare professionals in providing the highest standard of medical services.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
- Administering vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Performing clinical procedures, such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
- Conducting health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Providing patient education and counselling on various health topics, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records system (Best Practice).
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Registered or enrolled Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Previous experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a primary care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (Best Practice preferrably).
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
