We are a busy and well-established restaurant located in Castle Hill, NSW, currently seeking
a skilled Chef to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering quality food and
maintaining a high-performing kitchen environment.
The Role
As a Chef, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen operations and ensuring
the consistent delivery of high-quality meals. You will play a key role in supporting kitchen
staff and maintaining efficient service during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu standards
- Plan and organise daily kitchen operations
- Assist in menu development and introduce new dishes
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, including training where required
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment
- Contribute to staff rostering and workflow management
- Participate in team meetings and operational improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (Certificate IV or higher
preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to take initiative and support kitchen leadership

Work Schedule
- 38 hours per week (full-time)
- Rotating shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
