About the role
We’re seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide in-home support to our client living with a Brian Injury in Wyanbene. Your experience will ensure you continue to develop your skills while making a meaningful difference.
This role offers consistent day shift hours, with regular ongoing shifts every Monday to Friday with occasional weekends , providing stability and the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts and occasional emergency fill-ins , offering flexibility and increased hours for the right candidate.
You will:
Provide high-quality daily support and companionship
Facilitate social outings and community engagement
Assist with meal preparation and domestic tasks
Encourage rehabilitation and exercise routines
Provide supervision, prompting, and gentle redirection
Ensure care plans are implemented to a high standard
Act as a key liaison between the client, family, and Carehero management
You’ll be supported by our experienced allied health and nursing team, with ongoing training to ensure you have the confidence and skills to succeed.
As you grow with us, there may also be future opportunities to work across additional client locations, expanding your experience and hours.

You’re a great communicator with a good sense of humor, strong attention to detail, and a focus on efficiency. You have extensive experience with bowel care and thrive working alongside an amazing team of experienced and passionate professionals.
