About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day movement of raw materials and freight across our operations.
This position plays a key role in ensuring operational activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with business requirements.
Working closely with operational teams, transport providers, contractors and customers, you will facilitate the movement of raw materials and products through the supply chain while supporting site performance, compliance and service delivery objectives.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements to ensure operational and customer requirements are met.
- Manage daily logistics activities, including scheduling transport, equipment, labour and resources.
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external service providers to maintain efficient workflow and service delivery.
- Monitor inventory and material movements to ensure accurate stock control and timely processing.
- Assist with planning and prioritising operational activities to support business objectives and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records, including freight documentation, inventory transactions and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, Chain of Responsibility requirements and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate contractor and visitor access requirements, including site inductions and compliance obligations.
- Identify operational issues, delays and inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions where appropriate.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity and operational performance.
- Promote and uphold safe work practices, contributing to a positive and proactive safety culture.
- Provide regular operational updates and administrative support to management as required.
