The Role
ALS Geochemistry has an opportunity for a full time HAG Operator to join our XRF team based in Stafford on Brisbane’s northside. This role will be predominantly working with our HAG-System robot. This role would suit someone with an interest in science and robotics and a problem solver brain.
This role is on a rotating Monday - Friday Afternoon shift 8 hour shift pattern, so please only apply if you have full flexibility across shifts.
The Day to Day
Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical expertise in the operation, maintenance and calibration of HAG automation systems.
- Ensure preventative and routine maintenance is carried out as per prescribed schedule following operating manual.
- Resolve operational and / or systems problems to minimise production downtime.
- Implement corrective actions where quality outcomes are compromised.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements, company policy and statutory requirements.
Forming part of a skilled and high performing XRF team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. The Essentials
We believe to be successful in this role, you will be a motivated individual who will ideally possess the following:
- An interest in science and robotics, a Science or Trade qualifications would be beneficial, but not essential
- Availability to work a Monday to Friday rotating Day/Afternoon/Night shift roster
- A curious and mechanically driven mindset
- High level of problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and a great work ethic
