As the Service Leader and Early Childhood Teacher for our brand-new Narrarrang Kindergarten in Port Melbourne (located on school site at Narrarrang Primary School), you will oversee a team to deliver kindergarten programs that support the wider community and provide high-quality education and care to children. This position also acts as Educational Leader for the service.

This part-time, ongoing role (34 hours per week / 68 per fortnight) commencing Term 1, 2027 will provide the right leader with the space to thrive in a program with strong ties to the community.
Working to one of the National or Victorian early learning frameworks, you will:
- Develop an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child.
- Drive enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs.
- Create a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate.

You’ll also bring with you:
- A Bachelor of Early Teaching (Early Childhood or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority – ACECQA).
- A current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based Child Safety Training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
- Experience gained in early childhood teaching.
- Strong organisation and planning skills, including a high attention to detail.
