Job Description Summary
The purpose of this role is to provide technical leadership and oversight for IT solutions developed internally or externally, ensuring they align with business requirements and maintain solution integrity. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design and review IT solutions that are innovative, high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant with architecture and security standards, ultimately meeting the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture to ensure solutions align with IT strategy, and contribute to the architectural roadmap by performing security assessments and producing and evaluating solution designs for internal projects.
- Contribute to strategy, principles, policies and roadmaps for assigned solutions.
- Drive conceptual design strategies by reviewing architecture work products to ensure quality, traceability, effectiveness and timeliness of the solution design process.
- Facilitate, advise and collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure that all IT designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles and roadmaps, and deliver the desired outcome.
- Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to translate business and technical requirements into detailed solution designs which incorporate people, process and technology aspects.
- Technical solutions are delivered efficiently and follow processes and procedures outlining how technology can be used to solve a given business problem.
- Present solution designs at all required stages to the Solution Architecture Review Committee.
- Understand the IT landscape where solutions reside to deliver effective IT solutions that support the business context and meet the broad business needs.
- Actively promote and embed the Architecture ways of working and due governance.
- Balance operational delivery and risk commitments by identifying emerging, underlying, and accumulating risks across processes and controls. Understand their impact on service recipients and stakeholders, clearly communicate the risk landscape to leaders, and assist in prioritising resources in response and formalising, where required, in conjunction with the first line risk team.

Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Moderate relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Significant experience in solution architecture leadership, including large scale programme experience with significant change components.
- Experience in being part of a significant change programme, providing infrastructure-centric support and guidance.
- Experience in building solutions based on public cloud platform services.
- Experience in translating business requirements into infrastructure solutions across all infrastructure technologies.
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies.
- Experience of building solutions from defined architecture standards and patterns.
- Experience in IT security and architectural functions.

Pay: Up to $1,200.00 per day

- Bachelor Degree (Required)
Experience:
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google): 3 years (Required)
- Solution architecture in Insurance Sector: 3 years (Preferred)
- Solution architecture in Insurance Brokerage Solutions : 3 years (Preferred)
- Guidewire Env: 3 years (Preferred)
