Job title: Motor Mechanic
Genesis Motor Group Pty Limited is looking for a qualified, reliable and proactive Motor Mechanic who is able to help us maintain our high standards of workmanship and customer service. The right candidate will be highly motivated and be an asset to our fast-paced work shop.
Key responsibilities include:
· Carry out vehicle inspection, diagnostics, service and repairs on engines and mechanical parts such as brakes, suspension and transmissions;
· Adhering to our quality control standards and identifying engine and part faults;
· Completing repair work and/or maintenance as per the repair order to dealership and brand requirements;
· Replacing and reassembling faulty parts and testing parts after repair to ensure proper performance;
· Carry out warranty work and maintenance services such as oil/ fluid changes and filter replacements with minimal loss of time and revenue;
· Keep up to date with mandatory factory training and refer to service manuals as required; and
· Maintain a high level of safety in the workshop.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
· Technical/Trade qualifications as an Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic;
· Minimum 1-2 years qualified experience as a Motor Mechanic with experience in vehicle diagnostics;
· Ability to use factory diagnostic systems to problem solve;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
· Strong IT skills;
· The ability to work as part of a team as well as work autonomously;
· A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service; and
· A current, valid driver's licence.
