What you need:
· Must have heavy vehicle spray painting experience and be trade qualified;
· The ability to multi task, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
· The ability to work independently and in a team environment;
· Possess colour matching and paint mixing skills;
· Have a good work ethic with strong commitment to health and safety.
Duties:
- Preparing surfaces and painting semi-trailers and sub frames in a spray booth;
- Using hand tools and sanders to prepare and smooth out damaged areas on trailers;
- Mask areas for painting and remove once painted;
- Applying primer and finishing coats to a premium standard;
- Blending and matching paint colours to suit existing vehicle shades;
- Spraying primer and final paint coats while sanding between layers for a smooth finish;
- Finish products by inspecting and cleaning
Pay: From $41.00 per hour
