We're looking for an experienced Integration Engineer Level 2 to join our Engineering team and help connect the systems that drive our business. From ERP and eCommerce platforms to finance, merchandising and customer systems, you'll design, build and optimise scalable integrations that enable seamless data flow across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies including Boomi Enterprise, Azure Integration Services, SQL Server and DevOps tooling while contributing to a growing integration platform supporting a large omni-channel retail business.
About the role
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise integrations across multiple business applications
- Build scalable, reliable and secure integration solutions using the Boomi Enterprise Platform
- Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, stored procedures and queries for high-performance integrations
- Design and manage REST APIs and middleware solutions
- Implement cloud integration patterns using Azure Integration Services, including APIM and Service Bus
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git and GitHub Actions
- Ensure integrations meet security, privacy and governance standards
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Project Managers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support production releases, incident resolution and continuous platform improvement
About you
- 3+ years' experience in integration engineering, middleware or software engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi Enterprise Platform - Essential
- Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL development skills
- Experience with Azure Integration Services including API Management and Service Bus
- Experience designing REST APIs and integration architectures
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, Git and GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and modern integration patterns
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Boomi and Azure certifications will be highly regarded
