The Opportunity – Senior Paraplanner / Advice Services Coordinator
Bored with writing SOAs but still love the technical side of the role?
This could be the perfect next step.
We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner or technical advice professional who wants to take their expertise beyond traditional SOA writing. In this role, you'll use your technical knowledge to review advice documents, support advisers, manage workflow and lift the quality of advice across the business.
You'll be the person who can spot when something isn't quite right, ask the right questions, and ensure advice documents are accurate, compliant and delivered efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end SoA workflow pipeline, ensuring work is prioritised effectively and delivered within agreed timeframes
- Act as the primary liaison between Private Wealth Advisers and outsourced paraplanners enabling clear communication and seamless delivery
- Validate and uplift client related information, ensuring it is complete, accurate, and ready for SoA production, while working closely with advisers and their support staff to improve upfront quality, reduce rework, and drive faster turnaround times
- Review Statements of Advice to ensure they are:
- Technically accurate
- Fit for purpose and aligned to client objectives
- Compliant with regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and enhance collaboration across advisers and external partners
About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous paraplanning experience
- Solid expertise in Statement of Advice (SoA) preparation and review, including compliance obligations and best interest duty requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Xplan and its application within advice processes
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment
- Understand the importance of communication and collaboration in achieving high quality outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, implement improvements, and enhance efficiency and turnaround times
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including advisers and external providers
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a consistent track record of delivering accurate, high-quality and compliant documentation
