Fitter (Full Time)

Location: Campbellfield, VIC
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation
ABCOR Pty Ltd is a leading Australian manufacturer specialising in precision manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial services. Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Duties:
· Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and industrial machinery
· Diagnose faults and perform mechanical troubleshooting on production equipment
· Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
· Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
· Assist with machinery upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements
· Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to support operational efficiency
Skills and Experience Required:
· Relevant trade qualification
· At least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification
· Proven experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment
· Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
