Wood Australia is seeking Expression of Interest for experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to work in the Surat Basin of western Queensland.
As an Electrical or Instrument Techn, you will apply your expertise installing, servicing, repairing electrical, instruments and control systems ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
You will become part of a team focused on delivering solutions for our client’s assets in western Queensland and create excellence delivery across assigned mechanical scope of works
The role
- Casual, Permanent: DIDO, FIFO or Local
- Roster : 15/13. 10-hour shifts, 5 days/week normal time
- Competitive Base Rate with casual loading on all hours + Overtime + Site Allowance
- Other Benefits : Accommodation is provided to distant workers

About you
- Site Proficient: Experienced in oil & gas, and the industrial sector
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Trade certificate : Electrical or Instrumentation Trade Certificate
- Valid electrical license
- Certificate III Instrumentation and Control
- Certificate III Electrotechnology Systems,
- Confined space entry - within 3 years from date of issue
- Working safely at heights - within 3 years from date of issue
- Construction white card
- Driver's license
The successful candidate will undergo a Wood medical and will be required to provide certificates and WAH, CS tickets before undergoing the medical.
