SkyCare Solutions is seeking a compassionate, reliable and person-centred Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant with complex physical health needs in Doncaster, VIC.

Shifts Available
We are looking for a support worker who can provide long-term ongoing support. Shifts are available 7 days a week, generally from 9am through to the evening, with opportunities for regular and consistent hours for the right candidate.
About the Participant
The participant was assigned female at birth and now identifies as non-binary, using they/them pronouns. Applicants must be respectful of their identity and provide inclusive, person-centred support
The participant lives with complex health conditions including:
- Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)
- Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
- Chronic migraines
- Chronic pain
- Autism and sensory sensitivities
Key Responsibilities
- Medication prompting and ensuring medications are taken on time.
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation.
- Community access and transport to appointments.
- Emotional support and companionship.
- Monitoring wellbeing and documenting observations and shift notes.
- Maintaining a calm, low-stimulation environment during migraine episodes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting participants with complex physical or neurological conditions (preferred).
- Calm, patient and compassionate approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed and respectful care.
- Comfortable following care plans and documenting accurately.
Important Requirements,
- Respect for the participant's gender identity and use of they/them pronouns is essential.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Comprehensive car insurance.
- Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Right to work in Australia.
