*About the Role*
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our growing team on a casual basis, with a genuine pathway to part-time or full-time employment. You will carry a diverse caseload spanning children, adolescents, and adults, across Medicare Better Access and NDIS funding streams. This role offers flexibility in how and where you work — clinic-based, community visits, home visits, and telehealth — making it ideal for psychologists who thrive in dynamic, person-centred environments.

*Key Responsibilities*
- Deliver individual psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy to clients across the lifespan — children, adolescents, and adults
- Provide services under Medicare Better Access (Mental Health Treatment Plans) and NDIS Therapeutic Supports (Capacity Building)
- Conduct sessions flexibly across clinic, telehealth, community, and home settings in line with client needs and funding plans
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation including progress notes, assessment reports, NDIS progress reports, and Medicare billing within practice timeframes
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans aligned with client goals and evidence-based frameworks
- Liaise professionally with GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, NDIS support coordinators, schools, and other care team members
- Use validated outcome measures (e.g., K-10, RCADS, SDQ, PHQ-9) to monitor and communicate client progress
- Participate in regular individual and/or group clinical supervision
- Adhere to AHPRA registration standards, the APS Code of Ethics, NDIS Practice Standards, and mandatory reporting obligations
- Contribute positively to the practice culture, team meetings, and ongoing quality improvement

*Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)*
- Consistent weekly billable session targets (discussed at interview based on contracted hours)
- Progress notes completed within 24 hours of each session
- NDIS progress reports submitted on time in line with participant plan review schedules
- Did-not-attend (DNA) and late cancellation rate actively managed and within practice benchmarks
- Validated outcome measures completed at intake, review, and discharge
- All AHPRA, Medicare, NDIS, and Working With Children compliance maintained and current
- Timely, professional communication with referrers and the wider care team
- Active attendance and engagement in supervision and professional development

*Essential Requirements*
- General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia)
- Current Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility to obtain one)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- Victorian Working With Children Check (employee category)
- National Police Check
- Professional indemnity insurance (minimum $20M coverage)
- Strong written communication skills — clinical notes, reports, and referrer correspondence
- Ability to work independently in community and home settings with professionalism
*Desirable*
- Experience with pediatric presentations (anxiety, ASD, ADHD, trauma, school refusal, attachment)
- Experience with adult presentations (depression, PTSD, adjustment, chronic pain, personality)
- Familiarity with NDIS funding, plan types, and therapeutic supports framework
- Postgraduate qualifications (Masters or Doctorate) in Clinical, Educational, Forensic, or Health Psychology
- Board-approved supervisor status or working toward it
- Bilingual or multicultural practice experience (Werribee is a highly diverse community)
