Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
A well established engineering consultancy in Adelaide is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Building Services team. This role will support the delivery of mechanical design solutions across commercial, health, education, defence and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical building services systems including HVAC, ventilation, and thermal comfort solutions
- Prepare design calculations, specifications, and technical reports in line with Australian Standards
- Produce and review design documentation, drawings, and schedules
- Coordinate with electrical, hydraulic and structural engineers to deliver integrated building solutions
- Attend client and project meetings and support stakeholder communication
- Assist with site inspections and commissioning activities
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3 to 8 years’ experience in building services consulting
- Experience with HVAC design, load calculations and system selection
- Proficiency with engineering software such as IES, CAMEL, Revit or AutoCAD
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
