Responsibilities
Receipt of incoming tissue, and where applicable, associated testing specimens.
Quality control testing of tissue, collection, and dispatch of samples from all incoming tissue in compliance with documented protocols.
Participate in the management and performance of equipment maintenance and calibration according to schedule. Completion and review of documentation for equipment maintenance.
Printing of final product packaging labels as requested.
Performing tasks related to quality systems including non-conformances, CAPA, change controls, audits and documentation. Driving completion of tasks to target dates.
Participate in monitoring of clean room pod environment and storage equipment. Respond to monitoring alarms to contain and protect product.
Perform plate counts for in-process monitoring and produce certificate of analysis for results.
Perform released product transfers. Quality inspection and clearance of returned grafts.
Provide assistance where required for duties in the Femoral Head/Living Donor tissue donation programs.
Experience & Qualifications
Degree qualification in science.
Ability to work autonomously as part of a busy and dynamic team.
Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice- Human Tissue, and TGO 88.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
