We are seeking a proactive Centre Set-Up Manager to lead the opening, acquisition, and refurbishment of our centres. Play a key role in delivering inspiring, safe, and operationally ready learning environments that reflect Montessori Academy's high standards.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will manage the end-to-end set-up of new Montessori Academy centres once construction has reached Project Completion (PC). You will coordinate the installation of furniture, equipment, and educational resources, ensuring each centre meets Montessori Academy standards and all regulatory requirements.
Working closely with Montessori Trainers, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure centres are operationally ready for opening. You will also oversee cosmetic refurbishment projects across existing centres and manage Service Approval applications to support successful centre openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end set-up of new childcare centres following Project Completion.
- Coordinate the procurement and installation of furniture, equipment, and centre resources.
- Work closely with Montessori Trainers to source and implement Montessori educational materials.
- Prepare centres to meet regulatory requirements and submit Service Approval applications.
- Manage refurbishment projects across existing centres.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Conduct final quality inspections to ensure centres are operationally ready.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
- Travel to multiple centre locations as required.
About You
- Experience in project management, facilities management, centre openings, retail fit-outs, construction, or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
