ABOUT THE ROLE
Cheltenham Manor aged care home is part of Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG), a family-owned organisation committed to delivering high-quality care through strong relationships, consistent standards, and genuine respect for residents and their families.
We are looking for a reliable, people-focused Receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff — and the way you show up matters. We want someone who takes that responsibility seriously and brings a natural warmth to it.
The role spans a weekday and both weekend days, which suits someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet and sign in residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive

Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally

Support resident admissions, discharges, and orientations

Coordinate bookings including hairdressing and the Private Dining Room

Handle incoming mail, deliveries, and general correspondence

Provide administrative support — data entry, invoicing, archiving, preparing tour packs, and assisting the Home Manager as required

Liaise with Kitchen, Laundry, and Care teams on day-to-day administrative requests

Carry out small tasks that make a real difference to residents, such as weekly flower distribution
WHAT YOU BRING

1–2 years' experience in reception or administration

A warm, professional manner with people from all walks of life

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to work independently, particularly across weekend shifts

Experience in aged care is welcome but not required
