Lead Safe, Efficient Warehouse Operations in a Critical Logistics Environment
About the role and opportunity on offer -
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Chemicals team in Laverton North, Victoria. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant movement of freight while driving operational excellence across warehouse activities.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations, allocating labour and equipment resources, and ensuring freight movements are completed accurately and on schedule. You will work closely with operational teams to maintain service standards, improve efficiencies and support a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities and Duties – but not limited to –
Lead daily warehouse and freight operations to ensure safe, efficient and on-time service delivery.
Plan and allocate labour, equipment and resources to meet operational demands.
Oversee freight handling accuracy, quality standards and operational performance.
Manage customer and stakeholder enquiries while maintaining high service levels.
Ensure operational records and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Support workforce planning, including rostering, leave management and shift coverage.
Champion a strong safety culture through compliance with WHS, Dangerous Goods and environmental requirements.
Investigate and report incidents, hazards and near-misses while supporting site security and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for to drive success –
Proven supervisory experience within warehouse, transport, logistics or freight operations.
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, freight handling and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and Dangerous Goods requirements.
Effective leadership, people management and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to manage competing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused with strong computer skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
