Spartan Steel Pty Ltd is a leader in structural, general, and heavy engineering steel fabrication. Our state-of-the-art facility in Yennora, NSW, enables us to fabricate, manufacture, finish, and supply high-quality steel solutions across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced full time Management Accountant to join our dynamic and committed team.
As an overview, your duties will include project costing; maintain job costing structures and analyse actual vs budgeted costs WIP and revenue recognition/ progress claim tracking, develop rolling forecasts and cashflow projections based on pipeline, procurement, project progress and margins ,provide performance based financial reporting, cost analysis, pricing and variance insights to support decision-making. You will also drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and efficiencies as well as support system enhancements and automation cost related initiatives. Salary: $76,000- $80,0000 plus super.
About you:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems, Bachelor of Business/Commerce or related field
- At least 1 year relevant experience
- Background in a project-based construction environment highly desirable
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to support operational and strategic decisions
- Advanced MS Office and systems experience
