The Opportunity – Help build places people love to live.
We're growing our After Care & Warranty team and have two newly created Defect Specialist opportunities available. These roles can be based in Queensland, Victoria or New South Wales and offer an exciting chance to join a developing function where you'll play a key role in shaping how post-settlement defects are managed and resolved for our customers. Working closely with internal stakeholders and builder partners, you'll help deliver a seamless warranty and after-care experience while contributing to the continuous improvement of our national defect management processes.
These are permanent full-time opportunities offering hybrid working with a balance of time in the office or at our assets (3 days) and from home (2 days).
We're Looking For...
Defect Specialists who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while coordinating technical defect management activities across our residential communities.
What You'll Do
As a Defect Specialist, you'll support Stockland's centralised defect management function by coordinating the assessment, tracking and resolution of post-settlement defects across the 90-day and statutory defect periods. You'll work closely with customers, builder partners and internal stakeholders to ensure defects are accurately triaged, effectively managed and resolved in a timely manner.
Reporting to the After Care & Warranty Manager, you'll maintain high-quality records, provide proactive customer communication, support reporting and insights, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of defect management processes across the business. Your work will play an important role in enhancing customer satisfaction and protecting the quality of the homes and communities we create.
About You
You're someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and creating positive customer outcomes. You thrive in environments where no two days are the same and where your ability to balance customer needs, technical information and stakeholder expectations can make a real difference.
You'll be looking for an opportunity to apply your construction or defect management knowledge while helping shape a growing function and contributing to a best-in-class customer experience.
