About the role
This is a casual Kitchen/Front of House position at Gemelli Coffee and Panini in Ivanhoe, VIC 3079. As a floater you will be an integral part of the team responsible for supporting the efficient and smooth running of the whole venue alongside our friendly team. Your primary focus will be to prepare delicious fresh panini for our customers and provide great customer service taking orders/running food.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including cleaning and sanitising work surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Restocking and replenishing ingredients and supplies as needed
- Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Supporting the wider kitchen/FOH team as required to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Running food to tables and takeaway orders
- Serving customers on POS with a high standard of customer service expected
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand/FOH or similar role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a kitchen hand or hospitality role is required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team in a friendly, upbeat environment with a positive attitude
- Any relevant food handling/kitchen-related qualifications would be an advantage
