Role requirements:
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other building materials
Constructing, installing and repairing walls, floors, roofs and frameworks
Installing doors, windows, skirting, architraves and cabinetry
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Carrying out renovations, maintenance and repair work
Constructing and installing timber structures associated with civil and infrastructure projects.
Installing formwork, temporary structures and other carpentry components required for infrastructure construction.
Working alongside civil construction teams on water, drainage and infrastructure projects.
Ensuring work complied with building standards and safety requirements
About You:
Relevant trade certificate
Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role
Ability to Supervise, work alongside apprentices and other tradespeople
Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to project timelines
Maintain a clean and professional worksite
Must have a positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Current White card
Pay: $79,423.00 per year
