We are seeking qualified Senior Lawyers with a strong drive for success to join the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
As a Senior Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing specialist legal advice and litigation services across a broad range of complex general law and administrative law matters, including on the Tax Agent Services Act. You’ll exercise a high degree of independence in the provision of your advice and conduct of your litigation matters, which may involve high profile, sensitive and strategic matters.
You will ensure that advice provided and litigation conduct by the TPB’s Legal Unit is legally sound and aligns with organisational priorities. This will require working with a broad range of stakeholders across the TPB, including advising on complex investigations into potential breaches of the Tax Agent Services Act.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Parramatta, Sydney CBD or Wollongong.
