Razzie’s is a new quick service burger shop opening in the Sydney CBD, serving fresh smashburgers, hot dogs, loaded sides, and proper comfort food.
We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and positive Back of House Team Members to join our opening team. This role is mainly about helping build burgers, working the fryer, doing food prep, following food safety, and helping the kitchen run smoothly.
You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’ll train you, show you our way of doing things, and support you as you learn. We’re also always open to ideas and suggestions from the team. What matters most is that you’re willing to learn, can work well with others, care about doing a good job, and bring a good attitude.
We’re starting with one location, but the goal is much bigger. Razzie’s has plans to grow into multiple locations, and we want good people to grow with us. As the business grows, there will be opportunities for the right people to learn more, take on more responsibility, and grow into bigger roles.
We also believe in cross training our team. Over time, you’ll have the chance to learn both Back of House and Front of House duties, including customer service, order taking, food handoff, packing orders, and helping the front counter when needed. This keeps the work interesting, helps the team work better together, and gives you the chance to build real skills across the business.
As a Back of House Team Member, you’ll be involved in:
Building burgers and hot dogs during service- Cooking and preparing sides, including fries, onion rings, curly fries, potato gems, and loaded options
- Operating the fryer safely
- Helping with food prep before and during service
- Following recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures
- Applying safe food handling practices
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and ready for service
- Restocking stations and helping the team where needed
- Learning different stations as part of your training
- Working with the team to keep food moving smoothly
We’re looking for people who have:
Some experience in a kitchen, takeaway shop, cafe, diner, quick service restaurant, or similar environment- A willingness to learn and try new things
- A positive attitude and good teamwork
- Good attention to detail
- A clean and organised approach to work
- A basic understanding of food safety and safe food handling
- The ability to stay calm when things get busy
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights and weekends
- An interest in food, hospitality, and being part of a growing business
