About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced professional to join our Palliative Care team on a full time, fixed term basis for Registered training position in Palliative Medicine research – Fellowship position. You will develop an active role in straddling the interface between research and clinical practice. Understand the current research projects undertaken by the service including the Centre for Palliative Care and under supervision from senior medical and research staff develop a substantive research project
Working week: 43 hours, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, including 30 minutes lunch break, one afternoon to attend training program or personal study per week. On-call, call back and un-rostered overtime as required by the after-hours on call roster.
Classifications for this position will range from HM25 - HM30 ($129,048.40 - $177,622.12) pro rata for part-time.

Current or completing Advanced Physician training in Palliative Medicine

Current General Registration with the Medical Practitioner’s Board of Victoria

Current National Police Check, or willing to obtain one
About Palliative Medicine
Our services continue to foster and enhance the development and expertise of palliative care provision, reflected in the integrative approach with our Department of Psychosocial Cancer Care, the Centre for Palliative Care and the University of Melbourne Palliative Nexus.
