About the Role:
As a key member of our Dalby team, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the service department while maintaining a strong customer-facing presence. You’ll manage service bookings, lead the team, drive performance, and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the service department
- Lead, support, and motivate workshop and front-of-house service staff
- Schedule, manage, and confirm service bookings
- Greet customers, log job details, and accurately communicate service needs
- Monitor workflow to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Liaise between technicians and customers, ensuring clear communication
- Ensure timely updates on repair progress, timelines, and costs
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions focus
- Review and approve service reports, invoices, and warranty claims
- Maintain compliance, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards
About You:
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor or Service Manager role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proven leadership qualities or the desire to step into a leadership position
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure
- Solid knowledge of automotive systems and service processes
- A customer-first mindset and a professional approach
- Sound computer and admin skills
- Valid driver’s licence (essential)
