Pay: $33.85 per hour (including casual loading)
Hours: Approx. 20 hours per week (during school term time)
Roster: Up to 5 days across Monday-Sunday, including evening shifts (roster discussed with successful candidate)
Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at a prestigious private school in Marion. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their hospitality career with a supportive team, ongoing training, and clear career pathways.
You’ll assist with catering services for the boarding house, supporting food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a high standard of customer experience for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas and serve meals to boarding students
- Assist with food preparation including sandwiches, salads, and vegetables
- Deliver friendly and efficient café customer service
- Maintain kitchen, service areas, and dining spaces
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, flexible, and available across the required roster
- Comfortable working efficiently during busy service periods
- Valid driver’s licence and understanding of food safety standards
Important: Successful applicants will be required to complete a Working With Children Check prior to commencement.
