Put your mark on a massive retail footprint and steer your Gold Coast stores to brand-new heights.
Back yourself to run a big-impact region and build a store culture team members actually want to be part of
The Opportunity
Based on the Gold Coast, this role offers the opportunity to lead across one of Queensland’s most dynamic retail regions. Plenty of scope to make an impact! As Group Manager, you will lead 11 Store Managers in this hands-on role where you will coach your store leaders through operational change, drive performance across your stores while building great store cultures.
You will work closely with state and zone teams to bring our business strategy to life on the shop floor. As Group Manager, you’ll create the environment for your stores and teams to perform at their best. You’ll balance commercial performance with strong people leadership, using data and insight to focus your time where it will have the greatest impact.
You will:
Coach, guide and develop your Store Managers, building a strong, accountable and high-performing group culture.
Use store data and insights to identify operational gaps, prioritise opportunities and drive performance.
Lead operational performance and change across your stores, keeping your focus at a strategic level rather than getting caught in the day-to-day.

Set clear expectations and maintain consistently high standards across safety, customer experience and store execution.
Identify and develop high-potential leaders, building a strong succession pipeline across the group.
Lead through change with pace, clarity and a strong focus on your people.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for an experienced retail leader who combines strong commercial thinking with genuine people leadership. You’ll be comfortable leading experienced Store Managers, making decisions using data and creating accountability while maintaining a positive team culture.
You’ll also have:
Proven leadership experience at Area Manager, Group Manager or senior operational level within a fast-paced supermarket or large-format retail environment.
Experience leading multiple sites and established senior store leaders.
Strong commercial and operational capability, with the ability to turn data into clear priorities and action.
A track record of developing leaders, lifting capability and building succession.
Confidence leading through significant change while maintaining engagement and performance.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and have the conversations needed to drive results.
A practical, people-focused leadership style and the drive to succeed in a high-visibility, high-impact role.
