We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Driver/Store Person to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role supporting receivals, dispatch, ripening operations, inventory movements and customer order fulfilment across the warehouse.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operational Manager/Supervisor, the Forklift Driver/Store Person provides flexible warehouse support across receivals, dispatch, stock movements, ripening room operations, stock control and pre-pack activities.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products move efficiently and safely through the warehouse while supporting customer orders and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport stock throughout the warehouse using forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Move stock between receivals, storage areas, ripening rooms, pre-pack operations and dispatch.
- Complete pallet checks and stock movement transactions accurately.
- Pick, stage and assist with customer order make-up activities.
- Support receivals and dispatch activities to meet operational requirements.
- Assist with stock rotation and product movements.
- Participate in stocktakes and inventory control activities.
- Provide support across warehouse functions as operational priorities change.
- Support pre-pack activities and general warehouse duties during peak periods.
- Assist with stock counts, stock reconciliation activities and warehouse housekeeping.
About You
Essential
- Current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Ability to safely load and unload vehicles and work in a fast-paced operation.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to perform physical manual handling tasks.
Desirable
- Experience within fresh produce, food manufacturing, cold storage or warehousing environments.
- Experience with inventory systems and warehouse procedures.
- Understanding of receivals, dispatch and stock control processes.
- Knowledge of food safety and traceability requirements.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
