Rostering Officer
Full-time, 38 hours a week
About the Role
The role is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the coordination, development and maintenance of staff rosters across the organisation and providing support for the payroll function.
The position ensures that workforce rostering supports operational requirements, including 24/7 service delivery areas, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and industrial instruments.
The role also undertakes payroll-related functions to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
About You
To be successful for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Hold relevant qualifications in Payroll, Accounting, HR or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce rostering, preferably within a 24/7 service environment.
- Sound understanding of payroll processes and their interaction with rostering.
- Experience interpreting and applying modern Awards and relevant legislation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an Aboriginal organisation and/or demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal culture and history.
