The opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Business Administration Trainee to join our Corporate Services team. This is a unique, entry-level opportunity designed for someone looking to launch their career in business administration while gaining specialised, hands-on exposure to Security and Facilities operations.
Working under the guidance of the Manager Security and aligned to Registered Training Organisation (RTO) objectives, you will earn a nationally recognised qualification while developing foundational skills in security compliance, contractor coordination, and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop your administrative skills by directly supporting the day-to-day organisational and security needs of our facilities:
- Data Entry & Records Management: Maintain accurate digital logs, update compliance databases, and manage security-related documentation with a high level of detail.
- Escorting Arrangements: Coordinate and facilitate on-site visitor and contractor escorting arrangements to ensure building security protocols are seamlessly maintained.
- Contractor Management Support: Assist with the onboarding, coordination, and tracking of facilities contractors, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
- Security Compliance Activities: Support the team in monitoring compliance workflows, auditing access requirements, and ensuring alignment with organisational security policies.
- General Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Corporate Services teams, helping to ensure internal processes run smoothly for both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory for security and compliance)
- Completion of high school (Year 12)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and SAP
- Strong time management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Not have previously completed a Certificate III in Business Administration
Desirable
- Driver's Licence and access to a car
- Previous experience in an office or customer service environment
