Salary $120,000-$135,000 pro rata, depending on level of experience.

We're seeking a passionate senior Mental Health Social Worker who wants to be part of an innovative interdisciplinary team and help pioneer a new standard of mental healthcare.
The Role
As a Mental Health Social Worker, you'll work across our inpatient and outpatient services, providing person-centred care that supports recovery and promotes long-term wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and contributing to multidisciplinary care planning.

Providing evidence-based individual and group interventions.

Delivering care coordination, case management and discharge planning to support safe transitions back into the community.

Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care.

Liaising with families, carers, community agencies and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.

Supporting patients to access community services and build sustainable recovery beyond hospital care.

Contributing to service innovation and quality improvement initiatives.
About You

A social work qualification recognised in Australia

AASW mental health accredited
-
Ideally 3+ years of experience in mental health

A passion for holistic, recovery-oriented care and collaborative practice
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to innovation and continuous learning
Highly regarded experience includes:

Inpatient mental health

CBT, DBT or trauma-informed therapies

Neurodiversity-informed practice

Group therapy facilitation
