Overview:We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats, investigating security incidents, and implementing security measures to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security breaches
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
Maintain and update security tools, firewalls, and antivirus software
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
Prepare security reports and documentation for management
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles (3+ years preferred)
Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are a plus
Pay: $5,000.00 – $6,500.00 per month
