About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services, supporting staff, maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NDIS leader looking for a school-hours position within a supportive and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Lead and support administrative and operational staff.
- Ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements, and organisational policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance management.
- Monitor service quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate internal audits, compliance activities, and quality assurance processes.
- Work closely with the Director and leadership team to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
- Manage operational reporting, documentation, and records.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and support effective communication across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within the NDIS sector.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and disability services.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Desirable
- Experience using client management systems (e.g., ShiftCare or similar).
- Experience with NDIS compliance, quality audits, and operational management.
- Knowledge of SCHADS Award and workforce coordination.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
