About the Role
Eureka Villages is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Emerald, QLD. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of a community, ensuring smooth governance, services, and a high quality of life for residents.
- General grounds maintenance and presentation of the community.
- Minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Monitoring contractors and maintaining a safe environment.
- Supporting the Village Manager with operational tasks as required
- Experience in the holiday park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role.
- Maintain and enhance the appearance of the common area gardening, including lawns, gardens, median strips and internal shared areas
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of all common areas including pathways, driveways, restrooms, and other public spaces
- Perform routine gardening tasks such as watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching and fertilizing throughout the community and external areas
About You
- Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
- Previous experience in property maintenance, gardening, facilities maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
- Experience in the holiday park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role.
- Empathetic, patient, and respectful in supporting residents’ individual needs.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to maintaining a safe environment.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Physically capable of undertaking manual work.
- Experience operating gardening equipment and general maintenance tools would be advantageous.
- Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
- Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
- Have a willingness to carry out various tasks as required.
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- High level of communication and written skills
- Experience in the holiday park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role.
