We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships, new service models, and market expansion opportunities.
Reporting to the Senior Sales and Product Growth Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing and managing strategic partnerships that generate referral pathways, revenue opportunities and market growth. You will also help shape innovative service models and build a pipeline of opportunities that support the future growth of Catholic Healthcare's Home & Community Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships that generate referral pathways, strengthen market presence, and support sustainable business growth.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including innovative service models, partnerships, and emerging market segments aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead the development of business cases, tenders, proposals, and partnership agreements to secure new growth opportunities and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of partnership, referral, and market expansion opportunities, tracking progress and conversion outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and other key stakeholders to deliver successful growth initiatives and partnership programs.
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and market intelligence to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic growth.
- Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including hospitals, retirement living providers, community organisations, and other strategic partners.
- Act as a key ambassador for Catholic Healthcare by delivering presentations, engaging stakeholders, attending industry forums, and promoting partnership and growth opportunities across target markets.
About You
You are a highly motivated business development professional with exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. You have a proven ability to identify opportunities, influence outcomes, and deliver growth initiatives in complex environments.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health, Social Services, Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in business development, strategic partnerships, account management, or a similar role.
- Strong tender writing, proposal development, and presentation skills.
- Proven project management capability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- A customer-centric mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience analysing data, developing business cases, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Flexibility to travel as required for stakeholder engagement, presentations, and industry events.
