We are seeking a reliable and organised Administration Assistant to support our growing team and help ensure smooth day to day operations.
About the Role
The Administration Assistant will provide administrative support across the organisation, assisting with participant records, compliance documentation and general office administration.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, has strong attention to detail and is interested in developing a career within the disability and community services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the management and coordination team
- Maintain participant records and documentation
- Assist with NDIS-related paperwork and service agreements
- Support staff onboarding and compliance documentation
- Assist with scheduling, calendars and communication
- Prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of participant information
- Support quality assurance and NDIS compliance activities
- Manage emails, phone enquiries and stakeholder communication
Essential Requirements
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania) or willingness to obtain
Desirable
- Previous experience in disability, aged care, healthcare or community services
- Experience with NDIS systems and terminology
- Experience using ShiftCare or similar software
- Certificate III/IV in Community Services, Individual Support or Business Administration
