We are currently seeking a reliable and caring Laundry Attendant to join our team at Estia Health Kangaroo Flat on a permanent part-time basis.
You must be available to work each Thursday and Friday 2pm to 6pm ongoing without restrictions. This equates to 8 hours work per week.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our residents’ comfort and wellbeing by delivering high-quality laundry services and maintaining exceptional infection control standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Collecting, sorting, washing, drying and folding resident laundry and linen
- Ensuring all resident clothing is clearly labelled and handled with care
- Maintaining high hygiene, infection control, and safety standards
- Safely handling and transporting soiled and clean linen
- Monitoring linen levels and reporting issues or damaged items
- Completing routine cleaning tasks within the laundry area
- Keeping accurate records of completed tasks and processes
You’ll be a team player who:

- Experience in laundry or housekeeping (aged care highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A reliable and dependable work ethic
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Understanding of infection control and safe chemical handling (desirable)
