About the role
BYV Organics is a growing business focused on sustainable land use, supporting agricultural operations through soil improvement and nutrient recycling.
We’re seeking a Logistics Supervisor to manage the coordination of truck movements from treatment plants to application sites across regional Queensland.
This is a hands-on role responsible for scheduling deliveries, managing drivers, overseeing biosolids collections, and ensuring safe and efficient transport operations, with the ability to step in as a relief driver when required.
The role can be based in South East QLD, with flexibility to work from home while maintaining close coordination with operational sites and depots.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily truck movements from STPs to application sites
- Schedule and optimise delivery routes and truck utilisation
- Manage and communicate directly with drivers (including subcontractors)
- Monitor production and manage bin levels at STPs
- Coordinate collection to ensure continuous removal and avoid overflows
- Ensure safe loading, transport, and delivery operations
- Work closely with Field Supervisors to support smooth delivery
- Maintain delivery records, waybills, and logistics data
- Provide relief driving support as required to maintain continuity of operations
About you
- Experience in logistics, transport, waste, or agricultural operations
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Practical understanding of truck operations and site constraints
- Current HC truck licence with experience operating truck-and-dog combinations
- Willingness and ability to step in as a relief driver when required
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage drivers
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements in transport operations
- Able to respond to changing conditions and solve problems on the go
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support operations
