Details: The Public Health Regulation (PHR) section of the Health Protection Service is seeking an Assistant Director to contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of public health policy and regulation.
As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including researching, coordinating and developing a range of strategic advice in relation to health protection and regulatory policy and legislation including tobacco control, food safety and pharmaceutical products. The role will involve collaboration and
consultation with a wide range of stakeholders and the management of intergovernmental public health agreements.
Desirable skills include experience in regulatory policy development, drafting Government correspondence, and/or a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for up to 12 months.
