For over 40 years, LiftRite Hire & Sales has been Western Australia’s trusted name in material handling, access, and earthmoving equipment solutions. Based in Perth, we are the authorised dealer for globally respected brands like Manitou and Kobelco.
We provide the tools, mentorship, and platform to develop your career within a supportive team environment. If you possess a strong mechanical aptitude, an excellent work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn from industry experts, we want to hear from you.
Structured Monday to Friday shifts (7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:00am – 4:00pm). No weekends, no night shifts, and no FIFO rosters.
Work directly alongside experienced Workshop and Field Service Supervisors who will develop your skills across hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and transmissions.
Engage in meaningful work. You will actively assist with fault-finding, servicing, and repairing our premium hire fleet and customer machinery.
As your technical competence and confidence grow, you will be given the autonomy to carry out minor mechanical repairs and equipment checks independently.
Working within our busy Perth workshop, you will support our technical teams to ensure fleet safety, reliability, and performance. Your day-to-day will involve:
Supporting qualified technicians with the service, diagnosis, and repair of diesel, petrol, and LPG systems, brakes, steering, and hydraulic components.
Progressing to independently conduct minor mechanical work, preventative checks, and scheduled servicing on the Hire Fleet.
Accurate documentation of parts used, managing inventory returns upon job completion, and completing clear service reports.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant workshop environment, ensuring tools are secure, and adhering strictly to health and safety legislation.
We value a strong work ethic, logical problem-solving abilities, and a dedicated approach to safety. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
A practical understanding of basic mechanical or electrical systems, backed by a hands-on background or a demonstrated interest in equipment maintenance.
A current, valid Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence is essential.
A High-Risk Work Licence – Forklift Class is highly advantageous. A willingness to obtain this certification is required if not currently held.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written for reporting), reliable timekeeping, and the capability to work effectively both under minimal supervision and within a team environment.
